Diabetes Care India developed Diabetes Free India – 2030 project on diabetes Awareness activities as per their core objectives.This campaign launched on 3^rd May 2017 at governor house, Gandhinagar with words of blessings of Shri O.P Kohli, honourable governor of Gujarat and in the presence of Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasma, Hon. Minister of education & Revenue and Shri Shankarbhai Chaudhry, Hon. Minister of Health& Family Welfare. Though at first gaze it looks impossible, if we all stake holders work together with a mission, the goal is achievable. It aimed that person born after 2030 should not develop diabetes in his lifetime. Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, Patron of Diabetes Care India supported this initiative launch of this campaign to stop the spread of diabetes
