Project herSTEAM – Inspiring Girls in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics

Project herSTEAM – Empowering the Next Generation of Women Innovators

Believing that education and innovation are the foundation of a progressive society, Heart Foundation & Research Institute (HFRI), under the visionary leadership of Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, proudly supported Project herSTEAM, an initiative dedicated to encouraging young girls to pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM).

The programme was designed to nurture curiosity, creativity, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills among school students through engaging, activity-based learning experiences.

Inspiring Future Women Leaders

Project herSTEAM encourages girls to discover their potential by participating in interactive educational activities that strengthen both academic understanding and practical skills.

Students participated in:

  • Hands-on STEAM learning activities
  • Creative problem-solving challenges
  • Mathematical and logical thinking exercises
  • Design and innovation workshops
  • Team-based learning activities
  • Practical engineering concepts
  • Scientific exploration and experimentation

These activities helped students develop confidence, creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking—essential skills for the future workforce.

Promoting Equal Opportunities in STEM Education

The programme aims to bridge the gender gap in STEM education by providing girls with opportunities to explore emerging fields and develop leadership qualities from an early age.

Through interactive learning experiences, students are encouraged to pursue higher education and careers in science, technology, engineering, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
