Tridashabdi Mahotsav at Himmatnagar

National Association for the Blind, Aravalli - Sabarkantha District Branch organized a Tridashabdi Mahotsav on 23rd September, 2016, Friday10:00 am at Nalinkant Gandhi Town Hall, Himmatnagar in presence of Honourable Shri Om Prakash Kohliji, Governor of Gujarat and Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah (President, National Association for the Blind, Gujarat State and Chairman & Managing Trustee of the Indian Heart Foundation & Research Institute).

During the educational tool kits distribution and for to honor the participating members programme at the Town Hall Himmatnagar, the Honorable Shri Om Prakash Kohliji Governor of Gujarat in his speech said that, “those people which are not specially abled can be said a common person, but when such specially abled (Divyangajana) does more performance than their ability it motivates me”.

Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah, Chairman & Managing Trustee of Indian Heart Foundation & Research Institute, Ahmedabad and President of National Association of Blind, Gujarat State has got the charity work in succession, in this Tridashabdi Mahotsav added his desire to indulge in and work for more activities which will help the society. He announced to give One Lakh rupees to all the 26 branches and also Rs.75000/= as expenses for organizing this programme. He further added that to do Charity work is my religion and it requires the blessings of all to promote more charity work."

In this programme, Honourable Shri Om Prakash Kohliji, Governor of Gujarat and Dr. Nitin Sumant Shah (President, National Association of Blind, Gujarat State and Chairman & Managing Trustee of the Indian Heart Foundation & Research Institute, Ahmedabad) distributed Hearing Aid Kit, Laptop and educational tool kits and also honored and awarded Sevaratan and Karmyogi to serving members.
